Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice receives no statutory government funding. It costs £2.5 million a year just to keep the hospice open. Every penny is vital and your donations help us keep helping children with life-limiting conditions across the region. Here is an brief idea of what your support means to our families.
- Just £1 could help a child breathe easier with an oxygen mask
- £5 pays for ten minutes on the phone at 3am with a parent who just needs to talk
- £10 pays for a play session for a Bluebell Wood child, with lots of fun and laughter
- £20 pays for a child to have a dip in our hydrotherapy spa with lots of bubbles and giggles
- £25 pays for a music therapy session for a child, allowing them to express themselves through music
- £50 pays for an hour of nursing care for a child at home
- £500 pays for 24hours of care for a Bluebell Wood family - with fun, laughter, relaxation, a chance for some quality time together and a good night's sleep!
